Dorothy Louise Kerr, 93, of Greenfield, died Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chilicothe.
She was born Dec. 12, 1916 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late Ray W. and Ruth (Penn) Ashling.
She graduated from McClain High School and was a member of Greenfield First Presbyterian Church.
She was married to Russell Kerr, who died Nov. 24, 1980. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ray William "Bill" Kerr.
She is survived by a son, Charles E. Kerr, of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Kathy K. (Ronald) Sorrell of Greenfield, Krista Kerr of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Ginger K. (Geoff) Lowell of Hillsboro; two great-grandchildren, McKenzie K. and Elena K. Lowell; and a step-great-grandson, Ronald Sorrell II.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 at Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. Clinton Tolbert officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's  name to the charity of one's choice.
