David Henry Cole Hillis, 8 months, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday afternoon, Jan. 24, 2011 at Cincinnati Children's Hospital after complications from a liver disorder.
He was born May 11, 2010 in Cincinnati, the son of James and Amy (Martin) Hillis, who survive in Hillsboro.
In addition to his parents, other surviving family members are his four brothers, Tom Eskra of Chicago, Ill. and Jacob Hillis, Jonathan Hillis, and, Zachary Hillis, all at home; two sisters, Veronica Eskra of Chicago, Ill. and Sarah Hillis of Kansas; maternal grandfather, William Martin of Chicago, Ill.; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Peggy Beery of Williamsburg.
David was preceded in death by a brother, Nathaniel Hillis.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Ballentine officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro.
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro on Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011 from noon until 1 p.m.
