Charles Elmer Miller, 54, of Fayetteville, formerly of Greenfield, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010 at the Veterans Administration Hospital of Dayton.

He was born Feb. 21, 1956 in Dayton, the son of James H. "Bus" and Helen (Downard) Miller.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a 1975 graduate of McClain High School.

He is survived by his mother, Helen Downard Miller of Greenfield; children, Leah Dameron of Wilmington, Charles Miller of Radcliff, Ky., Steven Miller of Radcliff, Ky., Michael Miller of the U.S. Marine Corps., and Mark Miller of Radcliff, Ky.; four grandchildren; and a brother, Allen "Butch" Miller of Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at the New Beginning Baptist Church, 627 N. Fourth St., Greenfield with the Rev. Steve Cole officiating.

Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield, is serving the family.
