     Celesta East, 59, of the Belfast Community, died Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
     She was born July 1, 1950 in Butte, Mont., the daughter of the late Charles and Ione (Johnson) James. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Johnny Peterson, Chuck James and Wayne Burden.
     Celesta is survived by two sons, Jerry (LeAnna) Beamer of Hillsboro; James B. Beamer of Belfast; one daughter, Pamela Ward of Hillsboro; one stepdaughter, Christen Deyo of Belfast; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
     A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, May 31, 2010 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. 
     No services will be held.
     Memorials may be made to the family c/o Thompson Funeral Home, 241 E. Main St., Hillsboro, OH. 45133.
