Catherine L. Fent, 82, of Hillsboro, died Monday morning, Dec. 13, 2010 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro.

She was born July 2, 1928 in Xenia, the daughter of the late Arthur and Ollie Lynch Lucas.

Mrs. Fent was a retired employee of the Hercules Trouser company in Hillsboro.

She is survived by one daughter, Cathy Estle of Okeechobee, Fla.; five grandchildren Eugene (Lori) Fent of Hillsboro, Billy (Beth) Fent of Hillsboro, Shelly (Darrell) Kirby of Lynchburg, Ronnie Joe Estle of Belfast, Cathy Jo (Mark) Gilmore of Springfield, Tenn.; 13 great-grandchildren; three brothers, David, Howard, and Fred Lucas; and two sisters, Mary Lucas and Dorothy Grahame.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin F. Fent on Nov. 17, 1993; and one son, Eugene Fent.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

The Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
