Catherine Bombac, 61, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the Highland District Hospital Emergency Room.
She was born in Lick Branch, Ky. on May 26, 1949, the daughter of the late John and Candus (Johnson) Gross. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Thelma Jean Carter. 
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Bombac; two sons, Christopher Conley and Charles Conley; two daughters, Carrie Vance and Jeannie Marie Greene; four brothers, Harold (Mary) Gross of Hillsboro, A. John (Jeanie) Gross of Hillsboro, Clifford (Marylen) Gross of Seaman, and Keith (Barbara) Gross of Hillsboro; two sisters, Fannie Marie Bennington of Hillsboro and Michelle (Bill) Kuhn of Sardis, Ky.; and five grandchildren.
Due to Catherine's wishes, there will be no services or visitation.
The Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Services was in charge of arrangements.
