Catharine McKenzie, 95, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on Sept. 11, 1914, the daughter of the late Charles and Ella May (McClanahan) Call.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Gus, Charles, and Bob McKenzie, three brothers, Pete, Jim, and Orin Call; and one sister, Evelena Stephenson.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Diane McKenzie of Peebles and James and Beverly McKenzie of Peebles; one sister, Louise Hanson of Columbus; 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 27 great-great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Feb. 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Gene Stephenson officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 9-11 a.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
