Brenda A. Phillips, 59, of Greenfield, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010 at Grant Hospital in Columbus.
She was born Aug. 2, 1950 in Greenfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert Edward and Lavina (Moore) Howland.
Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Phillips, whom she married Aug. 12, 1978; one son, Richard Kerns, Jr., of Greenfield; one daughter, Melissa Dunlow, of Greenfield; one stepson, Greg (Penny) Phillips, of Greenfield; nine grandchildren, Jenny Mae, Steven, Cody, Dalton, Jessie, Michael, Jackie, Marcie, and Wayne; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Penny (Jr.) Duncan, of Greenfield; one brother, Carl "David" Howland, of Highland; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie, Vernon, and Paul.
Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. McClellan Reed Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery. A visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010.
