Betty Louise Hopkins age 82 of Hillsboro died Saturday morning, August 28, 2010 at Hospice of Hope Inpatient Care Center in Seaman.
She was born January 6, 1928 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Edward and May Jenkins Davidson.
Mrs. Hopkins had worked for the Hercules Trouser Company and also Weastec Corporation in Hillsboro.
She is survived by one daughter, Freda Hopkins of Hillsboro, one sister-in-law, Evelyn Davidson of Franklin, Ohio and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Fred Hopkins on October 27, 1990, two sisters, Lorene Beers and Mary Davidson and three brothers, Robert, James and Ralph Davidson.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Larry Herdman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery near Belfast, Ohio. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Memoria l contributions may be made to the American heart Association, P. O.
