Betty June (Leonard) Hogle, 76, of Greenfield, died Dec. 16, 2010 at the Hearth & Care Nursing Home in Greenfield.

She was born July 8, 1934 in Columbus, the daughter of Kenneth Leonard Sr. and Thelma (Black) Leonard.

Mrs. Hogle attended Central High School in Columbus and was a homemaker.
She was a member of Samantha Freewill Baptist Church, where she was involved with the Women’s Auxiliary and worked in the church nursery for many years.
She is survived by a son, Ed (Mary) Hogle of Greenfield; two daughters, Dianne (Dan) Williams of Hillsboro and Kathy Fent of Greenfield; a daughter-in-law, Margie Hogle of Greenfield; two brothers, John Leonard and Kenneth (Mary Jo) Leonard, both of Columbus; four sisters, Joann (Jim) Fishpaw of Columbus, Delores Plant of Pickerington, Ruth (Jack) Kinner of Pickerington and Christine (Ron) Anderson of Carroll; three brothers-in-law, Don (Susie) Hogle of El Paso, Texas, Bill (Carol) Hogle of Huachuca, Texas and Paul (Jane) Hogle of Columbus; one sister-in-law, Barbara (Rene) Valley of Danville; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hogle was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Jay Hogle, whom she married Aug. 19, 1955; one son, Jeff Hogle; and five brothers-in-law, Dick Plant, Orville Hogle, Cecil Hogle, Bob Hogle and Ralph Hogle.

Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Wylie Perkins officiating and burial to follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 20.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Cincinnati Chapter, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.
