Arnold M. Roberts, 81, of Winchester, died Thursday morning, April 21, 2011 at his residence.
He was born Aug. 5, 1929 in Highland County, the son of the late Edward M. Roberts and Margaret E. (Dolphin) Roberts.
Arnold was a retired master printer and farmer. He was a member and deacon of the Sugartree Ridge Church of Christ for many years.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Donna J. (Law) Roberts of Winchester; son, Ronald W. Roberts of Texas; daughter, Debra L. (Ronnie) Cantrell of Winchester; two grandsons, Kyle L. Young of Morrow and Chad C. Young of Loveland; two step-granddaughters, Jenna (Nathan) Schlauch of Groveport and Ashley Cantrell of Ripley; and a step-great-granddaughter, Jadyn Schlauch. He is also survived by a great aunt, Eileen Roberts of Florida; a sister-in-law, Leona Roberts of Winchester; two nieces, Diane Wagner and Julie McFall; a nephew, Rick Roberts; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, Arnold was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis L. Roberts.
Services will be held at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St., Hillsboro, Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Drue Lane officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery, Sugartree Ridge.
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Monday, April 25, noon - 2 p.m.
