Alfred Milton "Milt" Woodmansee III, 78, of Lynchburg, died Saturday evening, Jan. 2, 2010 at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Andrea Woodmansee in Cambridge, Ohio.
He was born April 16, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Alfred Milton Woodmansee Jr. and Ruby E. Howell Woodmansee.
Mr. Woodmansee had retired from the Ford Motor Company after over 29 years of service, where he had worked as an inspector. He was a member of the Allensburg Church of Christ, The Lynchburg Lodge 178 F&AM, Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati and the Syrian Shrine. 
He is survived by his wife, Carol Williams Woodmansee whom he had married on Aug. 12, 1967 in Allensburg, Ohio; one son, Troy (Andrea) Woodmansee of Cambridge, Ohio; one daughter, Ruby Denise Woodmansee of Ft. Collins, Colorado; one step-son, Richard E. (Nancy) Griffith of Hillsboro; one step-daughter, Judith Barr of Pricetown; four grandchildren, Teagan, Daphne and  Zachary Woodmansee and Casey Ashman; seven step-grandchildren, Joseph (Beth) Griffith, Kristy (Richard) Warner, Heather (Brian) Geeslin, Melinda Brown, Joshua Barr, Ashley (Randy) Wallen and Tiffany Barr; seven step-great-grandchildren , Ian, Justus, Logan, Grant, Cody, Emily and Bailey; two nephews, Robert (Norette) Mitchell and Walter (Debbie) Monroe; and three nieces, Pamela (Terry) Davidson, Judy (Richard) Barrick and Sandy (Doug) Niehaus.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Marie Woodmansee, Virginia Monroe, Stella Eveland, and Dorothy "Dottie" Mitchell; and one step-son, Jack Griffith.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7th at the Allensburg Church of Christ. Bob Stevens will officiate. Private mausoleum entombment will take place following the service in the Woodmansee family cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Allensburg Church of Christ.  Memorial contributions may be made to Community Care Hospice, P. O.
