Ohio Liquor celebrates America250 through special releases, recipes and patriotic experiences

Ohio Liquor (OHLQ), a partnership between the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Liquor Control and JobsOhio Beverage System (JOBS), is joining the statewide and national celebration of America’s 250th anniversary with the OHLQ America250 Collection. This special collection features a growing assortment of commemorative products, patriotic-themed releases, cocktail and mocktail recipes, and celebratory experiences designed to honor our nation’s historic milestone.

DeWine orders flags lowered in honor of Sgt. Scott Ries of Rittman Police Department
In honor of the life and service of Sgt. Scott Ries of the Rittman Police Department, Governor Mike DeWine has ordered that the flags of the United States and the state of Ohio shall be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout Wayne County and at the Ohio Statehouse, Vern Riffe Center, and Rhodes State Office Tower.

Washington state fails to investigate daycares with no children despite media reports
Many Washington state daycare providers receive large taxpayer subsidies, but an investigation by The Center Square found several that had few, if any, children and at least one establishment that received hundreds of thousands of dollars despite residents at the listed address indicating it was not a daycare.
