The St. Mary Catholic School/Joe Penn Scholarship Golf Tournament was held on June 4 at the Hillsboro Elks Club. The tournament raised $7,000. The money will provide scholarships for students needing financial assistance with their tuition.

The winners of the tournament were Bruce Miles, Adam Bagshaw, Dr. David Jamieson, and Rodney Donley. Pictured with the winner are Tim Hagan, presenting the plaque, and Matt Sharkey representing the Sharkey/Penn family.

Golf Professional Tim Petrovic donated one of his putters for a special auction. Dr. Jamieson was the highest bidder.

St. Mary Catholic School Principal Mary Stanforth thanks everyone who donated items, sponsored tees and played in the tournament.
