UPDATED: Area roadways closed due to flooding

The following restrictions are in effect on routes in the District 9 area:

ADAMS COUNTY                                                                       
·S.R. 348 is closed at the 11.5-mile marker, in the C.R. 18 (Blue Creek Road) and T.R. 160 (Mount Unger Road) areas near Wamsley, due to flooding.

BROWN COUNTY

• S.R. 131 is closed from the 2.0- to the 3.5-mile markers, between U.S. 50 and U.S. 68, due to flooding;

• U.S. 68 is closed near the 28.0-mile marker, north of S.R. 774, due to downed power lines and trees.

JACKSON COUNTY:
· S.R. 140 is closed at the 2.5-mile marker and S.R. 93, through Lawrence County, and continuing on to T.R. 290 (Bloom Furnace Road) in Scioto County due to flooding.

LAWRENCE COUNTY:

• S.R. 93 is closed from the 9.4- to the 11-mile markers, between S.R. 522 & T.R. 623 (Sand Hollow Road);

• S.R. 141 closed from the 19.5- to the 21-mile markers, between C.R. 62 (Buck Creek Road) and C.R. 4 (Etna Waterloo Road);

• S.R. 141 is closed between the 9.0- and the 10.0-mile markers near T.R. 237 (Union Church-Lodge Ridge) due to downed power lines;

• S.R. 522 is closed near the 7.0-mile marker and C.R. 27 (Little Pine Creek Road);

• S.R. 650 is restricted at locations from the 7.0- to the 9.0-mile markers, between C.R. 43 (Kelly's Mill Road) and S.R. 522.

PIKE COUNTY
· S.R. 124 is closed near the 14.7-mile marker and C.R. 1 (Beavers Ridge Road) at Idaho due to flooding.

ROSS COUNTY:

· S.R. 104 is closed at the 22.3-mile marker and the Deer Creek bridge, near T.R. 131 (Pennyroyal Road), due to flooding.

· U.S. 23 NORTH is reduced to one lane near the 2.6-mile marker and the entrance to Scioto Trail State Park (S.R. 372) due to a mudslide.


SCIOTO COUNTY:

• S.R. 139 is closed at the 9.4-mile marker near T.R. 516 (Oliver Road), west of S.R. 335 at Minford, and at 18.0-mile marker and the Jackson County line, due to flooding.

· S.R. 140 is closed near the 14.0-mile marker at T.R. 290 (Bloom Furnace Road), through Lawrence County, and continuing on to S.R. 93 in Jackson County due to flooding.


Other area routes may also affected by storm-related events, including debris on roadways and standing water in localized areas. Motorists need to use additional caution when traveling today.
