Shay Snyder sworn in as member of Leesburg Village Council

Shay Snyder was nominated and appointed to the open seat for Leesburg Village Council on Jan. 18.

Snyder was sworn in by Mayor Rita Smith-Daulton and immediately took his seat at the council table and participated in the Jan. 18 meeting.

Snyder is a 2013 graduate of Fairfield High School and served in the U.S. Army in the Medical Battalion. He currently works for the Highland County North Joint Fire and Ambulance District as a full-time EMT and firefighter.
