Robbery suspect arrested in Washington C.H.

A suspect from an armed robbery that occurred around noon Saturday, Jan. 23 at Country Corner Market in Madison Township is now in custody.

 

The suspect, Ryan L. Funk, 20, was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held at the Highland County Justice Center on a felony one charge of aggravated robbery, according to Highland County Sheriff's Office.

Funk was arrested Monday evening by the Washington Court House Police Department.

 

At approximately 11:59 a.m. Saturday, a male subject entered the store, located off Route 28 in Madison Township, showed a weapon and demanded money, the Highland County Sheriff's Office reported.

The suspect fled with an undetermined amount of cash.
