ODOT treating area roadways; 'black ice' may form quickly in spots

By
-
ODOT maintenance crews are working in Adams, Brown, Highland and Jackson counties Sunday morning to treat for snow and ice conditions.

With a mix of freezing rain and light snow, routes are mostly clear and wet; however, they are likely to be very slick and black ice may form quickly.

Motorists are reminded to exercise additional caution, especially when traveling over bridges and overpasses, and to allow additional travel time.
