Mowrystown Lions Club hosts Wildcat 5k Chase July 9

The Mowrystown Lions Club hosted the second annual Wildcat 5k Chase on Saturday, July 9 in Mowrystown.

Various medals were presented for overall walkers and runners, and additional medals were given to age categories for the runners.

The top 10 overall winners were: Noah Richmond, 16, of Leesburg, 17:59; DJ Davis, 22, of Wilmington, 19:17; Bennett Hodson, 15, of Leesburg, 20:27; Tony Brammer, 33, of Winchester, 20:52; Zach Deatley, 15, of Hillsboro, 22:03; Timothy Brinker, 23, of Winchester, 22:04; Atlee Carr, 15, of Hillsboro, 22:14; Brian Laycock, 39, of Wilmington, 22:47; Don Paul Kirk, 61, of Ripley, 23:02; and Tim King, 46, of Hillsboro, 23:16.

There were 41 participants in all, ranging in age from 13 to 75.
