Monarch Meadows assisted living center opens in Adams County

SEAMAN – A perfect early autumn evening greeted administrative staff and guests at the grand opening of the spacious and appealing Monarch Meadows assisted living center in Seaman on Tuesday evening.

Administrator Matt Smith welcomed visitors to the skilled nursing, rehabilitation and assisted living facility at 299 Commerce Drive, just across from the Adams County Regional Medical Center and along the James A. Rhodes Appalachian Highway in Scott Township.

According to Smith, the new facility has space for 50 residential clients and 12 assisted-living patrons.

“There is a full range of activities, including a theater room, game and TV room, therapy gym area and dining room,” Smith said.

Monarch Meadows is part of the Continuing Healthcare Solutions group, which includes Crestwood Ridge Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hillsboro.

The Tuesday grand opening at Monarch Meadows included hors d'oeuvres and beverages with tours of residential suites and services provided by the new facility. The Adams County Chamber of Commerce and other local officials welcomed the new business to the region.
