An area man who the Hillsboro Police Department were investigating as a missing person has reportedly been located in Kentucky.

The HPD received a missing person report on Aug. 9 at 5:24 p.m. that Cory A. Puckett, 20, had been missing from his residence at 513 Johnson St. since Aug. 7 at approximately 3 p.m.

He was reported as being 6'1" tall, weighing 200 pounds, with brown hair and eyes and wearing jeans and sandals.

The HPD told The Highland County Press Wednesday morning that Puckett's father had called him to say that he had allegedly been located in Maysville, Ky., and was supposed to be returning to Hillsboro. When he returns to town he has been asked to contact the HPD.
