Michael sworn in as Leesburg Police Officer

At the Feb. 15 Leesburg Village Council meeting, Mayor Rita Smith-Daulton swore in Chase I. Michael as a full-time police officer for the Village.
Michael attended the SSCC Police Academy and then completed his necessary hours with the Leesburg Police Department. His mom, Nicole, also works as a full-time officer for the Village, and his dad, John, works for the Highland County North Joint Fire and Ambulance District and serves as the president of the Leesburg Council.
On behalf of the Village of Leesburg, welcome aboard, Chase.
