In addition, paintings from 12 local Art Guild members are available for sale.

The shop also features books on Highland County history by local authors; glassware; maps; and Highland County prints.

Credit cards are accepted, and Highland County Historical Society members receive a 10-percent discount. Twenty percent of all proceeds go back to the Historical Society.

Liz Keister is the coordinator of this year’s Christmas shop.

The museum is open Fridays from 1-5 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. and is closing Dec. 18 for the season.
