Leesburg Luminaria court announced

The Leesburg Lions Club hosted the 28th annual Luminaria on Sunday, Dec. 11.

Presentation of the King and Queen was held at the Leesburg Branch Library. The King and Queen were selected from candidates in the sixth grade at Fairfield Schools who submitted entries to an essay contest entitled “What Luminaria Means to Me.”

Pictured is the sixth grade Leesburg Luminaria court crowned Sunday night, Dec 11.

The winners are the authors of winning essays, which were judged anonymously by senior English classes. From left are: King Caleb Vidourek, Queen Macy Keeton, Prince Chris Pardue and Princess Mikalah Sheridan.
