Kasich appoints David Bender to Fayette County Common Pleas Court

Ohio Gov. John R. Kasich has announced the appointment of David Bryan Bender of Washington Court House to serve as Judge of the Fayette County Court of Common Pleas Probate and Juvenile Divisions.    

Bender will assume office on May 18, 2011 and must run in November 2012 in order to serve out the remainder of the unexpired term ending February 8, 2015.

Bender earned his bachelor’s degree and juris doctor from the University of Toledo. He has been admitted to practice law in Ohio and U.S. District Court Southern District of Ohio.

Bender has served as the Fayette County prosecuting attorney since 2005 and has been the owner of the Bender Law Office since 1999. From 1987 through 1999, Bender was a partner with Butler & Bender, Attorneys at Law.

Bender is a member of the Ohio Prosecuting Attorneys Association (OPAA), the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Fayette County Bar Association.[[In-content Ad]]
