Jacob Campbell latest winner of The Dickey Group's half-court challenge

MOWRYSTOWN – Jacob Campbell is the latest recipient of a $500 check from The Dickey Group Inc. Realtors after making a half-court shot during halftime of a recent Whiteoak High School varsity game.
Jeff Dickey made the check presentation at Whiteoak's Homecoming game on Friday, Jan. 27.
The Dickey Group has been a longtime supporter of Whiteoak athletics. Since 2006, The Dickey Group has offered to donate $500 to anyone who makes a half-court shot at any WHS boys or girls varsity home basketball game.
“We can’t say enough about how much support they’ve given us over the years,” said Whiteoak Athletic Director John Combs. “It’s made for an entertaining halftime during our girls and boys basketball games.”
Since 2006, there have been at least seven winners of the half-court shot challenge.
Previous winners include: Atlee Carr (twice this season); Matt Butler, who won the first-ever half-court shot sponsored by The Dickey Group in 2007; Jared Bohl in 2009; Aidan Shannon in 2015, and Trace Thompson in 2016.
Whiteoak High School and the Athletic Boosters thank The Dickey Group for their continued support of Whiteoak athletics.
