Hillsboro man killed in Flat Run Road crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, Wilmington Post, is currently investigating a one-vehicle crash resulting in one fatality.
The crash occurred on Flat Run Road near Davis Road, in Jackson Township, Highland County.
On June 24, at approximately 10:25 p.m., a 1991 Dodge Dynasty driven by Raymond L. Durfey, 59, of Hillsboro was traveling southeast on Flat Run Road.
Mr. Durfey traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned into a creek bed.
Mr. Durfey was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of the injuries sustained from the crash.
Hillsboro Fire and Rescue, the Highland County Sheriff's Office and the Highland County Coroner's Office also responded.
