Hillsboro man arrested after police discover meth lab

On Sept. 6 at approximately 2:41 a.m., officers from the Hillsboro Police Department located a meth lab at a residence in the 100 block of West Pleasant St.

Officers were at the residence looking for a person wanted on a warrant. While officers were checking a building on the property for the wanted person, they located a one-pot meth lab, along with other items used in the manufacture of methamphetamines.

Richard L. Price III, 40, was arrested and charged with illegal assembly of chemicals, a third-degree felony.

Heather Tankersly, 37, was also arrested on a warrant from the Ohio Adult Parole Authority.
