A special meeting of the Hillsboro City Council has been called for Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

According to a release from the clerk of council, the meeting has been called by president of council Lee Koogler.

The only item on the agenda is an executive session for the purpose of security and property.

Koogler told The Highland County Press Wednesday afternoon that it was too premature to anticipate if any action will be taken following the executive session. Koogler said that the matter could not wait until the March 14 council to be discussed.

The meeting will be held in council chambers, located at the fire station at 204 North East Street in Hillsboro.
