Hillsboro City Schools are closed Jan. 11

Hillsboro City Schools are on a two-hour delay for Tuesday, Jan. 11 and the Hillsboro Christian Academy is on a one-hour delay.
The National Weather Service says snow is likely before 9 a .m., with additional snowfall between snow between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday.
The total daytime snow accumulation is expected to be 1 to 3 inches, the NWS said.
On Tuesday night, there may be areas of blowing snow and a chance of snow showers before 1 a.m., then snow showers likely and areas of blowing snow between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., with additional snow accumulation of less than one inch.
There's also a chance of snow showers Wednesd ay, with a high near 25 and a low around 14 degrees.
Several area schools are closed Tuesday, Jan. 11, including Hillsboro City Schools, Hillsboro Christian Academy, Bright Local, Lynchburg-Clay, Eastern Brown Local Schools, North Adams and Southern State Community College.
