Highland District Hospital hosts annual breast cancer awareness event

Highland District Hospital welcomed and served over 500 community members as they rolled through the parking lot to bring awareness to the most common women’s cancer – breast cancer.
The Break for Breakfast event, open to the community, is hosted yearly to celebrate those who have survived, to encourage those currently diagnosed and receiving treatment, and to offer hope to those who have had loved ones suffer from the disease.
Each person received a bagel and juice breakfast, as well as a tote bag with educational materials about breast cancer, and items from Susan G. Komen Southwest Ohio.
