Highland County's unemployment rate drops to 13.3 percent

Highland County's unemployment rate fell more than a percent to 13.3 percent for March, and remains ranked with the 9th-highest rate in the state of Ohio. 
Ottawa County had the highest rate at 16.3 percent, followed by Pike County at 15.5 percent, Meigs County at 14.1 percent, Clinton County at 13.7 percent, Huron County at 13.5 percent, Adams County at 13.4 percent and Noble County at 13.4 percent. 
In February, Highland County posted the 9th-highest unemployment rate in the state at 14.4 percent. Highland County was ranked with the seventh highest rate in the state at 15.3 percent in January.
In other neighboring counties, Brown County's rate was at 11.8 percent, Ross County at 10.5 percent, and Fayette County at 9.8.
