Highland County Probation Department earns Cliff Skeen Award from ODRC

On October 13, 2016, the Highland County Probation Department was recognized by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections for the outstanding work in the community with the Cliff Skeen Award at the annual conference of the Ohio Justice Alliance for Community Corrections held in Columbus.
The Highland County Probation Department and Chief Probation Officer Jeremy Ratcliff were chosen the best among the 121 programs throughout Ohio.
"This is a great achievement for some of the hardest-working and most dedicated people in the local criminal justice community," the Hon. Judge David H. McKenna, Hillsboro Municipal Court judge, told The Highland County Press.
The Ohio Justice Alliance for Community Corrections presented its 30th annual conference, “30 Years – Promoting and Supporting Effective Community Corrections” at the Crowne Plaza Hotel North in Columbus on Oct. 13-14.
