Author Louis Charles will present “Helping Ghosts” 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, in the Learning Resources Center (LRC) on Southern State Community College’s South Campus, 12681 U.S. Route 62, Fincastle. There is no charge for admission.
Through years of study and field experiments, Charles has gathered insights and techniques to help hurting, disembodied people cross to the light. Whether you’re a ghost investigator or someone in need of assistance with a haunting, Charles will demonstrate how his book “Helping Ghosts” can teach how to communicate and work with troubled ghosts.
While growing up in Canton, Charles always had a fascination with ghosts and spirits. In 2004, he launched his own website in order to better study the field. By using the submissions he received from around the world, Charles began comparing potential evidence shared in stories, images, videos and audio recordings. He also worked with countless others on field tests, investigations and experiments in spirit communication.
For his book, Charles conducted investigations with paranormal groups and psychics to test theories about ghosts and to evaluate metaphysical concepts he found enlightening. He says his approach to ghosts and haunting comes from a place of compassion and no fear.
Today, Charles continues to investigate cases of haunting as he experiments with new methods to make contact with spirits. A husband and father of three, Charles says he thoroughly enjoys contemplating the puzzle of life over a good cup of coffee. To learn more about his work, visit www.angelsghosts.com.
