HCHS kicks off spring season with St. Patrick’s Day brunch

The Highland County Historical Society hosted its annual St. Patrick’s Day Brunch on Sunday, March 19 at the Highland House Museum.

The brunch has been the spring kickoff event for the Highland County Historical Society for the past 15 or more years.

William Albert, a guest and greeter, was on hand to discuss his Eagle Scout project. His project will be building a sidewalk at the society’s historic log cabin.

In addition, the museum's Military Room was on display, as it underwent major renovation in 2016.

The museum is located at East Main and South East streets in Hillsboro.
