Hazardous weather advisory posted through Feb. 2

      A hazardous weather advisory has been posted for parts of the Ohio Valley for Monday, Jan. 31 through Wednesday, Feb. 2.

    According to the National Weather Service, today's forecast calls for a slight chance of snow and sleet after 3 p.m. Otherwise, expect mostly cloudy skies, with a high near 31.

    Monday night expect freezing rain and sleet, becoming all freezing rain after 10 p.m. The low will be around 30. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent.

    On Tuesday, look for a mix of rain and freezing rain, changing to all rain after 9 a.m. The high will be near 38.

    Rain is expected to continue Tuesday night, with an overnight low of around 34.

    Snow showers are likely on Wednesday and Wednesday night. Wednesday's low will dip to 14 degrees.

    Thursday will be partly sunny and cold, with a high near 24 and a low around 12.[[In-content Ad]]
