Greenfield Historical Society's Spring Tea set for April 27

Greenfield Historical Society
The Greenfield Historical Society will hold its annual Spring Tea April 27 in the Konneker Education Museum on South Street.
Frank Raymond Harris will be the character.
F.R. Harris was an educator, writer and world traveler. He graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1902 and began his teaching career in the Greenfield schools system. He received a master's degree from Harvard in 1910.[[In-content Ad]]
He became high school principal and held that position at the time of the construction and dedication of McClain High School. He later became superintendent of the school system.
Harris was the author of four books and was a world traveler, in all logging over 100,000 miles.
Danny Long will be portraying Mr. Harris for the tea. Mr. Long is well known to the Historical Society's guests, having portrayed E.L. McClain and Admiral Irwin at previous teas. He's also a regular actor at the society's annual Ghost Walk.
Refreshments will include finger foods, tea and coffee.
Pre-sale tickets are on sale for $10 at the Home Building & Loan in Greenfield. Tickets may be purchased at the door but seating is limited.
