Girl Scout Troop 321 explores the outdoors

Girl Scout Troop 321, made up of all sixth-graders traveled to Chillicothe’s Great Seal State Park on Aug. 13 for a one-night tent camp-out.

Six girls and two leaders participated in hiking Sugar Loaf Mountain, enjoyed a special Indian program by Bruce Renner of Jamestown, outdoor cooking, frisbee golf and experienced the outdoor drama "Tecumseh."

The event made possible by their Girl Scout Cookie Sales.

All girls attend Hillsboro Middle School.
