Congressmen launch DOGE Caucus

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Congressmen Aaron Bean (FL-04) and Pete Sessions (TX-17) this week launched the Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency (DOGE) Caucus to reduce waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal government.

Specifically, the caucus is committed to supporting President-Elect Donald Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in its mission to dismantle the out-of-control Government Bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, cut wasteful expenditures, and restructure federal agencies.

“Our national debt has surpassed a staggering $36 trillion and should be a wakeup call for all Americans. We must take action to avoid diving headfirst off the cliff of fiscal ruin,” said Congressman Bean.

“I’m thrilled with President-elect Trump’s appointment of Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy to lead DOGE, but taking on Crazy Town will be no easy task—they will need partners. Our DOGE Caucus, will work closely with the Department of Government Efficiency to help rein in reckless spending and stop the abuse of taxpayer dollars.”

“As Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations and the Federal Workforce, it has been my priority to identify and stop ongoing waste, fraud, and abuse in our government. According to a report from the GAO, there has been over $2.7 trillion in fraud and improper payments since 2003. This is an absolutely unacceptable misuse of taxpayer dollars. Hardworking Americans deserve a government that works efficiently and effectively. I am looking forward to working with Congressman Bean and serving as Co-Chair of the DOGE Caucus to continue my commitment in rooting our inefficiency in government,” said Congressman Sessions.

Congressman Bean has been a leader in supporting fiscal responsibility. Earlier this year, he introduced H.R. 8777, the “Cutting Unobligated Tumultuous Spending (CUTS) Act,” which slashes wasteful federal funding and radical Green New Deal initiatives by $95 billion to offset the foreign aid package signed into law earlier this year.

I'm glad there's DOGE caucus and committee in the Congress to correspond with Pres. Trump's plan of reducing federal government spending. It will be interesting to see if any Democrat lawmakers want to be a part of the Government Efficiency caucus or if they would help with the CUTS Act. If the Democrats don't, that should speak volumes of what they think of spending taxpayers' money and resources. If federal employees were listed as non-essential and if those same individuals don't work for the genuine benefit of humanity, tourism, science, and national pride, (like National Parks, the space program, etc...) then, "You're fired! Get outta here!" The private sector is hiring. They expect genuine 40-hour work weeks and efficiency. Or... the Border Patrol is hiring...
