Congressman Dave Taylor files for re-election in Ohio’s 2nd District; announces endorsement from President Trump
U.S. Congressman Dave Taylor (R-OH) officially filed his declaration of candidacy today to seek re-election to the United States House of Representatives, representing Ohio’s 2nd Congressional District. Taylor, a small business owner and former prosecutor, also announced that his campaign has received the full and total endorsement of President Donald J. Trump.
Since being sworn into Congress, Taylor has established himself as a champion for Southern and Southeastern Ohio. His legislative focus has centered on economic revitalization, rural infrastructure, and a steadfast "America First" agenda.
"It is the honor of a lifetime to serve as your voice in Washington," said Congressman Taylor. "I am running for re-election because there is still work to be done to ensure our region remains a powerhouse of opportunity and a stronghold for our shared values. I am especially honored to have the endorsement of President Trump. Together, we are committed to lowering taxes, securing our borders, and putting the families of the 2nd District first."
Under the banner of the Trump endorsement, Taylor’s re-election campaign will emphasize a proven record of results, including:
• Economic Growth: Fighting to make tax cuts permanent and slashing federal overreach that hinders local industry.
• Constituent Advocacy: Returning millions of dollars in federal funds to Southern Ohio for infrastructure and rural health projects.
• Border Security: Introducing the Deporting Fraudsters Act to ensure accountability and protect American taxpayer benefits.
Congressman Taylor remains committed to an active campaign, looking forward to meeting with constituents across the district to discuss his vision for a secure and prosperous Ohio.
Question
I just wondering, are the people opposing these farmers? It would seem that is a property rights issue. I don't understand how they can deny a landowner, the right to make money off the land that they own. And isn't liberty town composed mostly in Hillsboro limits?
