Chamber of Commerce annual dinner June 16

The Highland County Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the local business community at the 2011 annual dinner, scheduled for Thursday, June 16 at the Fling Barn, just south of Hillsboro.
The dinner, which begins at 6 p.m. with a social hour and dinner at 7 p.m., is the most popular and well attended event on the chamber calendar.
"People look forward to this event," said Katy Farber, chamber president. "It's the one time a year that we all gather to celebrate the accomplishments of the Highland County business community and support the efforts of the chamber."
This year's event is incorporating many exciting changes, most notably in the venue.
"The Fling Barn offers a beautiful setting – we'll be featuring live entertainment by Blue Steele Band, terrific food and drink, and networking opportunities galore”, said Farber.
Dinner will be served by a variety of local caterers who will combine efforts to bring "A Taste of Highland County" to those who attend.
Tickets for the evening are $35 per person. Local businesses will once again sponsor tables and "show off" to those guests seated at the tables by providing marketing materials and giveaways highlighting their goods and services.
