Greenfield City Manager Ron Coffey was the guest speaker at the March 23 meeting of the Highland County Board of Realtors.

Coffey presented detailed information from some brief history to new developments in Greenfield.

Board of Realtors member Diane Uhl shared a brief update on the Rocky Fork Lake Area Safety and Advancement Plan. Board members are now in place for the new land bank and the policies and procedures will begin in April.

Uhl recognized Rockhold Brown Bank for providing use of its building on North Shore Drive for the Highland County Sheriff’s Office, and that Fayette County recently donated a cruiser.

Rocky Fork Community Alliance cleanup days will be April 8, 22 and 29, starting at 8 a.m. in the parking lot across from the camp store.

• April 15th with be the annual Easter Egg Hunt (at North Beach).

• The spring market days flea market will be May 27-28 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

• March 23 marked the one-year anniversary for the Food Pantry at the Greater Assembly Life Church, 12145 North Shore Drive. Last month, they had 175 individuals come through which fed 402 people. The food pantry is the fourth Thursday of every month.

The Realtors’ annual bowling tournament will be Friday April 28 at 5 p.m. at Alley 21. Realtors and affiliates may contact Emily Stroud if they are interested in having a team.
