August Board of DD meeting canceled

The Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities has canceled its regular monthly meeting, which had been scheduled for Aug. 16 at Hills and Dales Training Center. 

 

A representative for Hills and Dales informed local news media just before 4:30 p.m. to say that board president Linda Allen had canceled the meeting because she believed there would not be a quorum.

 

Calls placed by The Highland County Press to Allen seeking comment have not been returned. 

 

The Hills and Dales representative did not know which board members would not be in attendance. It was stated that Allen had proposed the board meet some time next week, but the time and date has not yet been scheduled. 

 

The board's next regularly scheduled meeting is Sept. 20.
