All's quiet in Gotham City
   Thanks to the presence of The Caped Crusader, there was No Return of the Joker at the Oct. 28 meeting of the Highland County Board of Realtors.
   The Halloween l uncheon brought out many ghosts, goblins, skeletons (one, anyway) and even a bedbug or two. But thanks to Batman's vigilant eye, all was safe and secure at the Ponderosa Banquet Center gathering of Realtors.
   Those winning prizes for their Halloween costumes included: Randy Butler, Bill Pierce, Brigette Waggoner and Robyn Coomer.
   The Highland County Board of Realtors also invited Nov. 2 political candidates to the Thursday luncheon, sponsored by Preferred Midwest Title. Those in attendance included Gary Heaton, Jeremy Shaffer, Jacob Dawson, Bill Horne and Cliff  Rosenberger.
   The Board of Realtors has announced its 2010 general election endorsements as follows:
   • For Ohio’s 17th Senate District, Greenfield Republican David Daniels;
   • For Highland County Commissioner, incumbent Democrat Gary Heaton; and,
   • For Ohio’s 86th House District, a co-endorsement of Clinton County Republican Cliff  Rosenberger and Highland County Democrat Bill Horne.
   The board was in agreement on the endorsements of Daniels and Heaton and evenly divided on the 86th District race.
