Adena Home Care Services is very pleased to announce the addition of several
insurance providers that will now accept the various services provided
through Adena Home Care.
Effective immediately, insurance providers that will now accept services
provided through Adena Home Care include: Aetna, Caresource, CIGNA,
Cofinity, Humana, Medical Mutual, Molina Healthcare of Ohio, Unison and
UnitedHealthcare.
“Having contracts with these added payors allows our patients, physicians
and referral sources to utilize our services as a direct “in network”
provider,” says Deborah Hanson, RN, Director of Adena Home Care Services.
“In the past, many times, even though a patient or physician may have
preferred Adena Home Care, because of the out of network costs associated,
choosing a contracted agency outside the Adena Health System family that was
considered “in network” was often the course of action. This was due to the
fact that the choice was often a better economic option for the patient.
Now with these added providers accepting Adena Home Care, our services can
be provided directly for our patients, providing greater accessibility and
convenience.”
Adena Home Care services is a Medicare, Medicaid and Joint
Commission-accredited full-service home care agency that provides skilled
home health care, hospice, home infusion and home respiratory services.
Counties serviced through Adena Home Care Services include Highland,
Jackson, Pike and Ross Counties, and portions of Fayette, Hocking, Pickaway
and Vinton Counties.
