Adams appointed to Board of DD

Highland County Juvenile and Probate Court Judge Kevin Greer has appointed Karen Adams to the Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities. 

 

Adams will be replacing Gary Boatman, who resigned last week after serving on the board since January 2009. 

 

"Karen has a sister who receives services out there, and I have known the family for a long time," Greer said. "They are good, solid people."

 

The board oversees operations of the Hills and Dales Training Center.

 

The seven-member board is comprised of two appointments by Greer and five appointments made by the Highland County Board of Commissioners.
