The 35th annual Greenfield Christmas Parade sponsored by Eagles Aerie 1325 is set for Saturday, Dec. 3 at 6 p.m.
The Christmas parade has been a popular event in Greenfield for many years. In 2012, the format was changed from an afternoon parade to an evening event and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Once again this year, the organizers hope to see dozens of floats in the festival parade.
The parade lineup will be at Greenfield Research at 4:30 p.m.
Everyone is welcome and there is no charge to enter.
Santa Claus himself is scheduled to make an appearance during the parade, and will stick around afterwards to visit with children of all ages at the firehouse for a free photo opportunity for families.
Deidra Garrison is the parade chairperson this year.
