We are writing to ask voters in Highland County to join us in supporting our Highland Soil and Water Conservation on May 4th.
The Highland Soil and Water Conservation District offers many benefits for land owners and farmers. They have been very helpful to guide and assist us in many conservation improvement projects. Specifically, they helped us develop a strategy for our farm.
Over the past 10 years, this included implementing program choices for soil erosion, pasture and tree planting, planned grazing system, woodland management, spring development/watering system and wildlife enhancement. This organization offers very valuable information through personal consultation and educational workshops.
We have the choice in this election to make a positive difference in Highland County. The money generated by the levy will benefit those in our community.
Please join us in voting YES on Issue 4 on May 4th.
