Columnist asked to provide source on Pelosi quote

To the editor:
I have the same problem with Gary Lewis as I do with the Tea Party he so enthusiastically supports. With so many valid issues to deal with in a respectful manner, why keep shouting lies and spreading misinformation?
In his usual over the top manner Mr. Lewis, in his How will states pay for ObamaCare article?, quotes Nancy Pelosi as saying, "We don't care what you don't want. We know better than you and you're going to get it whether you like it or not."
Since I recall no such statement I ask Mr. Lewis to provide a credible source for his information, the setting for the statement, to whom it was made and the full text from which it was taken. He might also explain why he and others insist on calling the Health Care Reform Bill, "Obama Care." Would it hurt to refer to it by its proper name?
Mr. Lewis's article concludes with a statement I whole heartedly support which is that "the time has come to make those responsible for such an abomination to feel the effects of their misdeeds in a vert personal way. Great! Let's start by holding George Bush and Dick Cheney responsible for lying the country into an unnecssary war that has killed over 4,000 of our soldiers and will cost future generations over a trillion dollars while making America less safe.
Sincerely,
Charles Leach
