Are churches hosting tea parties?

By

To the editor:
What's going on in God's house? Have churches forgotten about their main focus, teaching "love ye one another as Christ has loved you," and leading souls to Christ? Should the church be involved in political rallies?
It's my belief that church and government views should remain separate.
Be careful, pastors, ministers, and Christians! When the world and its views come into the church, the spirit of Christ could leave. I'm seeing this happen.
Go ahead, hold your tea parties! But why include the church?
Does Satan have his dirty paws in the mix?
Where were the tea parties nine years ago in Highland County? Our country's economic decline did not just occur. Do you actually you'll change anything?
The rich will get richer, the poor, poorer, and the middle Americans will continue to suffer as long as this life lasts, no matter who's our president.
Sincerely yours,
A proud Christian, Baptist, and American,
Eleanor L. (Curtis) Cumberland
